General note about Skyway Range operations:

Our range is in the process of being fully developed and various ranges may be open, or closed as needed. For the most up to date information about current range activities, call the club phone at 530-877-1345. Please note that if you see a RED range flag flying at the range entrance, one of our NRA certified Range Safety Officers are on site and shooting activities are occurring. It is now very warm at the range. Please bring your own water.

Trap Shooting

Paradise Rod & Gun Club Inc. now offers 5 position trap shooting every Saturday & Tuesday from 9:00am to 1:00pm. It is highly recommended that you be present & ready to shoot by 12:30pm at the latest. Trap shooting ceases no later than 1:00pm. Shot size limited to 7 1/2 oz. or smaller & no more than 3 drams or propellent.

Archery

Paradise Rod & Gun Club Inc. offers 20, 30, 40, 50 & 60 yard target stands in a natural setting that is available to members daily from 9:00am to 8:00pm or one hour before sunset, whichever is earlier. When practicing at our range, please do not use broadhead arrows.

Pistol

The schedule for the pistol range is 7 days a week from 9:00am to the earlier of 8:00pm or 1 hour before sunset. A PR&GC trained RSO will need to be present during shooting activities. Call Forrest or Carol to arrange for an RSO at the range. Call them at 530-872-9457. Or get your RSO rating with us now and shoot at your leisure!

Rifle

The rifle range is available 7 days a week from 9:00am to the earlier of 8:00pm or 1 hour before sunset, with the exception that the rifle range will not be in operation during active trap shooting on Saturday and Tuesday 9am to 1pm. If trap is not being shot at the time, the rifle range can be used. Also note that the club is beginning to be very active with Youth Rifle Training and NRA Qualifications for various disciplines.
